Rider Code of Conduct
All riders are expected to board the vehicle promptly upon arrival.
Upon boarding, each rider's ID Badge will be checked to confirm rider and destination.
Seatbelts are mandatory. Upon boarding the vehicle, the rider is expected to expeditiously select a seat. Once the rider is seated, he/she must secure their seatbelt. All riders must be at least 5 years of age, the availabiliy of booster seats are limited.
We take safety seriously
MKE Kidz, Inc, has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of seatbelts
Violation of this policy may result in suspension/termination of transportation services
Only riders are permitted to enter the vehicle
All riders are to refrain from eating or drinking when in the vehicle
All riders are expected to treat other riders and the driver with respect at all times
At no time will the rider be permitted to move about the vehicle while it is in transit
If mobile devices are to be used, we request that the user respect the other riders; Video recording is not permitted and will result in termination of transportation services
Suspension/termination of service doesn't constitute a refund
Zero Tolerance Policy for
Belligerence
Bullying
Fighting
Inappropriate touching
Service Arrival Times:
The driver is considered on-time when the vehicle arrives within 7 minutes of the designated time
Delays of more than 10 minutes is billable
If the rider isn’t available the vehicle may leave without the rider(s).
Return Trips:
If the rider isn't available during the initial pick-up time, then, an additional charge will be assessed for the driver to return
It's probable that the return trip may not occur until the end of the route
Drivers are not permitted to leave the vehicle to ring door bells or call for the riders
Only designated parents or guardians are authorized to retrieve the child. Please don't be offended if the driver requests identification
No one home to retrieve the child
If a designated parent or guardian isn't available to retrieve the child during the 1st trip, then the driver will return at the end of the route. Additional charges will apply
If a designated parent or guardian isn't available to retrieve the child during the 2nd trip then, the child will be considered abandoned; additional charges will apply
Same day calls to the office to update emergency or contact information for rides occurring the same business day is unacceptable unless there are extenuating circumstances
Please do not communicate route changes or contact information with the driver
Payment Policy Notice:
Please note that all services are prepaid. We will only schedule or dispatch services once the invoice is paid in full. Late payments will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Service Change Policy:
All service changes must be processed through our office and will be confirmed via email or text message. We require that any changes to scheduled services be made at least 24 hours in advance. Chages made with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be guaranteed.
Same-Day Service Cancellation for Scheduled Services Policy:
Cancelling a service on the same day as the scheduled pick-up will incur an administrative fee of 50% of the scheduled pick-up cost, not to exceed $10 for scheduled rides. If cancellation occurs upon the driver's arrival for a scheduled pick-up, a $10 fee will apply.
Same-Day Service Cancellation for Exclusive Use/Dedicated Vehicle Policy:
Cancellation of exclusive or dedicated use of a vehicle on the same day will result in a one-hour billing cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs upon the vehicle's arrival, a one-hour billing cancellaiton fee will also apply.
Service Suspension or Termination Policy:
Suspension or termination of services due to violations of our Safety Policy will not result in a full refund for unused services. Additonally, an administrative fee of $10 will be deducted from the remaining balance.
